Lotus Planting Instructions

Plant in wide, shallow container using loam soil, add 2 inches of water above the soil and place in full sun, outdoors. Lotus need 8 - 12 hours of sunlight daily to grow and bloom.  Do not fertilize until you have aerial leaves growing out of the water. 

Lotus Fertilizing Instructions

Fertilize monthly, June through September, once plant is established with two aerial leaves growing out of the water.
