The Werner Build-In Fire Escape Ladder is designed to provide peace of mind in the case of an emergency. The 2-story ladder is 17' 2" ladder length with the 3-story ladder being 24' 8" in length and can be easily installed directly below a window, providing a safe and secure escape route. The unit is recessed into the wall space beneath an upper story window. Both units use screws to fasten the pan and ladder to the studs. The pan uses 4 – 1” hex screws and the ladder uses 2 – 3/8” x 1 ¾” hex lag screws.
