This piece was harvested from a living Pacific Madrone tree growing on San Juan Island, Washington. We manage our Madrone sustainably and prune as needed for forest health. This piece was end-grain sealed immediately after harvesting. This is a GREEN to partially air-dried blank, meaning that it retains moisture from when it was a living tree. It has been well-sealed with Anchor Seal and is in the process of slowly drying. It was measured at >35% moisture content in December 2023.If you need a current moisture content, please message us so that we can check its status for you. It is common for fine cracks to open as these blanks dry, despite being sealed. If you do have a visible crack, fill it with CA glue or epoxy resin prior to turning. |

Time will tell

I won’t actually use these for a few days when my mattress arrives. Unboxed this morning and they are not as plump and full as I expected but they’re laying out to expand. Overall first impression is they felt comfortable and I could adjust them with my hands. They seem well made and durable. Cant say anything yet about firmness or shape retention since I’ve not used them. They feel like they will be soft. So time will tell but so far I’m loving what I see.

Just got these pillows today. I have never spent dollars on pillows; but I wanted Hotel Grand like the ones that I sleep on in the Hotels and these fit the bill. Large King is what I got and so far so good. Firm and Squishy like I like. I was impressed with the quality -- now lets just give them a few days rest. I am sure they will be GRAND.

Very soft, comfortable and fluffy. I’m a side sleeper and don’t feel they go flat. I bought 2 king size pillows. I was initially looking for fluffy feather pillows… but this is the next best thing. I was pleasantly surprised. Turned out to be more comfortable than I thought they would be.
