Kidney function is assessed using creatinine, eGFR and urea. Cholesterol testing includes total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, non-HDL cholesterol and triglycerides. Blood sugar control is assessed using HbA1c. Inflammation is measured using high-sensitivity CRP. Iron status is assessed using ferritin, iron, transferrin and transferrin saturation. Protein markers include albumin, globulin and total protein.
