  • Live Wise Naturals D3 is a unique liquid formula developed for vegans, strict vegetarians, and those who prefer a vitamin D3 form not derived from lanolin. This plant-based liquid formula made from Pine Trees is in the natural form of vitamin D (cholecalciferol), the same form our bodies make from sunlight and the form our bodies absorb best.

Live Wise Naturals plant-based vitamin D3 promotes a wide variety of vital functions in the human body, from the support of healthy cognitive function and brain development to healthy functioning of the eyes, bowels, cardiovascular and immune systems, and helping to reduce chronic inflammatory and autoimmune conditions.

Ingredients Vitamin D3 (as cholecalciferol from Pine Trees), Organic MCT Oil(100% Coconut). All ingredients are non-GMO. The D3 is sustainably sourced from the USA, certified vegan, non-GMO Project Verified. USDA Organic and allergen-free!

Since we use only natural ingredients, you may notice differences in taste and color from bottle to bottle. This is normal.

Directions

Shake well before each use.  Because we only use natural ingredients, no binders or fillers, there may be some separation. Each drop contains 200IU of D3. Take 5 drops for 1000IU of Vitamin D3, or as directed by your doctor.  Take with your biggest meal of the day.  It is best absorbed with meals containing fats.

Benefits

How Live Wise Naturals D3 Keeps You Healthy

Vitamin D deficiency is common around the world and many people (including physicians) are unaware that they may be lacking this important nutrient. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported that 32 percent of children and adults in the US were vitamin D deficient. The National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey found that 50 percent of children aged one to five and 70 percent of children between the ages of six and eleven are deficient in vitamin D.

Promotes Healthy Mood and Cognitive Function

A number of studies have confirmed that vitamin D supplementation can help alleviate symptoms of depression. Most recently a study published in Psychiatry Research(1) found that vitamin D insufficiency could predict the emergence of clinically significant depressive symptoms. Vitamin D has been shown to improve a number of brain disorders including dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. (2) Researchers estimate that among seniors as high as 95 percent are at risk of vitamin D deficiency or insufficiency and evidence suggests that vitamin D may be an important factor is successful prevention.

Positively Influences Brain Disorders such as Autism

Studies have shown a correlation between the rising incidence of autism and the rising incidence of vitamin D deficiency. (3) Scientists believe it is worth noting that as the incidence of vitamin D deficiency has gone up, so has the incidence of autism.

Supports the Healthy Function of the Digestive System

Researchers recently highlighted the importance of vitamin D in the prevention of intestinal diseases, including cancer. ( Science has known for some time the importance of vitamin D to counter the effects of inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis.

Helps to Reduce Eye Conditions such as Dry Eye and Macular Degeneration

According to a recent study published in the International Journal of Rheumatic Diseases "patients with vitamin D deficiency should be evaluated for dry eye syndromes." (5, 6) Vitamin D deficiency may also raise the risk of age-related macular degeneration (AMD) if you are genetically predisposed to it. (7, 8) This study suggests that if you’re at high genetic risk for AMD, having sufficient vitamin D levels might help reduce your risk.

Supports Your Body’s Response to Inflammatory Diseases

We’ve already discussed the importance of vitamin D and its ability to counter the effects of inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis. There is additional evidence linking vitamin D deficiency to chronic inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and other arthritic diseases.

Strengthens Your Body’s Ability to Fight Infections Including HIV

Vitamin D is well known for its ability to combat infections and strengthen immune function. Research suggests vitamin D supplementation may be an easy and affordable way to fight even more serious infections like HIV.(11, 12, 13, 14)

Protective Effects Against High Blood Pressure and “Hardening of the Arteries”

Science Newsline reports “The results add to the evidence that lack of vitamin D can lead to impaired vascular health, contributing to high blood pressure and the risk of cardiovascular disease.”(15) Even if you’re “generally healthy”, if you’re deficient in vitamin D your arteries are likely stiffer than they should be resulting in high blood pressure.

Lowers the Risk for Autoimmune Diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis and Lupus

At least a dozen studies have noted a strong link between multiple sclerosis (MS) and vitamin D deficiencies. (Research has also shown that most patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) have some level of vitamin D deficiency. Those with lower levels also tend to have greater difficulty controlling their disease.

Very Comfortable
Great! I was a little concerned when it came so tightly shrink wrapped, but a day or two later and it’s in great shape. It’s actually pretty comfortable, good angle. It’s a good width and pretty long to accommodate all body types. I like it can be two heights. My adult kids said it felt like memory foam. I can add my own pillow too to further adjust to my liking. I occasionally get bad heartburn or sick where I need to sleep sitting up. This helps me do that in bed. I tried using it every night at first because I usually sleep with two large stacked pillows, but I’m a side sleeper and it eventually hurt my neck. So, not great if you sleep on your side. I also just lay a pillow case across it to keep clean. You can unzip and take off the cover for cleaning, but I almost never get stuff like that back on right. I got the dark gray cover and I like the soft feel. I’m glad I got it.

Lifesaver while recovering from rotator cuff surgery
This pillow was a lifesaver, it’s sturdy yet comfortable and can be used many different ways! Great price and size too! I like that when I opened it, there was no smell! If you’re looking for a wedge pillow, this one will do the job!!

It is a great wedge pillow, but takes time to get used to sleeping on your back
Color: Dark Grey & White, Size: Adjustable 9&12 Inch + 1 Head Pillow
I bought this for post-surgery, I had to sleep on my back. Nearly impossible as a lifelong side sleeper. It is memory foam, and it does seem to run hot. But after a couple of weeks, I'm adjusting to it. Back sleeping is best for saving your face from AM wrinkles and mascara smears all over pillows. (Yes I know, I should take off mascara before bed, but....). Now that I've adjusted to sleeping with it, it stays on my bed and I wake up without the creases on my face and neck! So if you are buying pre-surgery, buy in advance to adjust to a new style of sleeping! I'm keeping it!

Color: Black, Size: Adjustable 9&12 Inch + 1 Head Pillow
Bought this pillow because Im dealing with both GERD and neck pain so I decided to order this and hope for the best thats being said Im so glad I did because its helped me a lot with both issues. Some extra comments: Its a little firm but not in a bad way and the head rest is comfy but I do wish I could bring it down lower.

Misleading: Pillow Itself Has Only TWO Configurations!! >:(
Color: Black, Size: Adjustable 9&12 Inch + 1 Head Pillow
I was sold on the 10-Option bit until I realized there are only 2 choices as far as flooping and flopping the pillow itself. It is 2 triangles, a large one and a small one. The large triangle IS THE SAME ANGLE ON EACH END. The small triangle IS ATTACHED TO THE CENTER OF THE LARGE TRIANGLE. That means no matter how you move the pillow itself, you're getting the EXACT SAME THING. Where YOU come in is where all these infinity "versatility" options are - whether you put it upright or whether you put it flat. That's it. All this I can read in bed! I can play on my laptop! I can watch TV! Yeah that's upright. Option 1. And all this I can put it under my legs! I can use it as a normal pillow as well! That's flat. Option 2. There is absolutely nothing special or different about this thing except the stupid pocket. Had they not made the triangle the same angles on the end, had they made a steep angle and a low angle and that center pillow detachable but still velcro - THEN there would have been more elevation options. But this, I was highly disappointed. It's like saying, My bed has 360 options! (because I can lay 360 different degrees around the bed) AND 360 MORE BECAUSE GUESS WHAT! I CAN LAY ON MY STOMACH 360 DIFFERENT DEGREES around the bed! Oh! And on my side 360 degree different ways! Wait I have a left and a right side - the OTHER side I can lay on it around the bed 360 different degrees as well! And sitting cross-legged on the bed 360 different degree directions as well! So. No. It's a firm memory foam pillow. You lay upright or lay down or you put it under your legs or on your lap. It changes 2 ways and you make it work 4 ways. That's it. Yes it smells but not too bad, not foul, just persistently. Like a light chemical smell but it didn't aggravate me (I get scent, etc. migraines). It self-inflated pretty fast. But as you can tell, I was not impressed with it in reality. :(
