Frequently Asked Questions
Can I swim with this band?
No — leather should not be submerged. For water/sport use, switch to Nomad's Rugged Band, Sport Band, or Active Band Pro (all FKM rubber). Light sweat from daily activity is fine; pool water and chlorine will damage the leather.
How does the brown Horween age?
Brown Horween develops the most pronounced patina — the leather absorbs hand oils and darkens unevenly over months of wear, creating a rich complex tone. After 6-12 months of daily use, the brown deepens significantly with character marks and burnished high-wear areas.
What's pull-up leather?
A leather treatment where oils and waxes are infused into the hide. When you bend or stretch the leather, the colour temporarily lightens at the stress point — a distinctive look that highlights every flex and contour. Develops more character over time than smooth-finished leather.
Why no stitching on the edges?
Modern Band's design language is cleaner and more contemporary — no visible thread for a sleeker silhouette. Internal construction uses Fil Au Chinois beeswax linen for the structural seam, but the edge finish is left clean for visual minimalism.
How does it compare to Apple's leather link or Hermes bands?
Different positioning. Apple's leather link is magnetic; Nomad's Modern Band uses traditional MIM lugs (more secure, won't release accidentally). Apple Hermes is dressier; Nomad's Modern is rugged-modern. Pick Nomad for the more substantial heritage feel; Apple for the clean magnetic aesthetic or Hermes branding.

super comfortable, not waking up as often as before

decided to try these after seeing the tons of good reviews and since they were on sale. also one of my favorite colors in general which is a great neutral shade for bedding, not too bright and not too dull. I ordered a queen thinking my mattress might have been a queen as I previously bought some mainstays walmart sheets. with that brand the fitted sheet in full was way too small. turns out my mattress is in fact a full it is just that mainstays is not good quality or sized right, so this brand the queen is a bit big for my mattress but not too big of a deal. i am not looking for a perfect look, just covering the mattress is the most important.
anyway since getting these sheets in the mail and giving them a run through the wash and dry before putting them on my bed my sleep quality has improved. the sheets are not too hot, are soft and I actually do not wake up as often as before. the sheets are not too thin like other brands and are not thick like flannel either. they are a nice in between. I wonder if they will help keep me cool in the summer, probably since they are actually breathable. I would definitely reccommend giving these sheets a try, worth the money and a good deal on sale. better quality that other store bought sheets.

Great Sheets for price. Color is great.

These sheets were great cost for the product. They are soft and comfortable seeming as if it will be nice for winter and summer nights. Fit perfectly on a twin bed even givning a little extra room to fit mattress and box spring if mattress is not to large. The thread count for comfort and thickness is great. They seem great for the price. I love the color is completely spot on. very elegant

Amazing for the low price!

We bought a newer camper that the previous owners put a regular, deep pocket mattress. After trying to fit our regular ones on and popping right off, I went right to Amazon and searched "deep pocket queen sheets". The first one came up with a very low price, I ordered them. They came in in about a day and a half. They were a great color, perfect fit and so soft. Something I would've paid so much more for! They are fabulous!!!
