Rooster hackle feathers are soft flexible feathers with very little fluff near the quill. Hackle feathers are usually no wider than 1 2" wide are wispy (almost see through) thin, and pointed at the tip. This style of feather is naturally shiny, white, and then dyed in a variety of colors that are available.
