Lotus Planting Instructions

Plant in a wide (24 - 48 inches wide or wider in diameter, shallow container using heavy loam soil with 3 - 6 inches of water over the soil. Place your lotus container in a sunny location outdoors, lotus need 8+ hours of sunlight to grow and bloom. DO NOT fertilize until you have aerial leaves growing out of the water.

Lotus Fertilizing Instructions

Fertilize each month throughout the growing/blooming season, June through September, with  4-6 fertilizer tabs. Your lotus should grow and bloom the very first year!
