ÜBER DAS GESCHENKSET

Dieser Rum wurde mit dem Ziel hergestellt, ein neues Lieblingsgetränk für Segeltörns zu finden. JJs Manöverschluck schmeckt nach einem Sonnenuntergang in einer einsamen Bucht, dem durchgestandenen Sturm und dem aufkommenden Wind nach einer langen Flaute.

Dazu wird ein Blended Rum aus den traditionsreichen jamaikanischen Destillen nach Hamburg verschifft, wo er mit sonnengereiften Mandarinen und edlem englischen Butterscotch verfeinert wird.

In der Nase ist der Rum geprägt von frischen Zitrusfrüchten, die mit Noten von Vanille und Karamell einhergehen. Der Geschmack ist süß mit einer angenehm leicht wärmenden Schärfe. Erinnert an einen bunten Obstsalat mit Rosinen und Cognac.

Damit der Rum besonders stilvoll getrunken werden kann, haben wir noch zwei Spiegelau Perfect Serve S.O.F. Gläser mit in die Box gelegt. Die Gläser sind aus maschinengefertigtem Kristallglas und werden in Deutschland hergestellt.

Good Thermometer with a Great App
The user experience with this wireless thermometer is much different than with the Chef IQ ones. I had a Chef IQ for 2 years until my husband put it through the garbage disposal. The software sucked, but everything that did wrong, the Thermomaven does right. I don't even have to open the app bc as soon as I turn it the thermometer on, the temp pops up on my iphone as well as on the Thermomaven base - freeing up my phone. The screen is easy to read and is backlit. My only complaint is that the probe is too big. You just can't use this thing with burgers or thin chicken breasts. I also got the Thermomaven instant read thermometer which will work in those cases, and it's great as well and thin enough for anything. These people really make great products. I'm impressed.
